Explanation

The futuro semplice is used for events that will happen in the future, for predictions, and to express polite conjecture about the present (I wonder if…). It is formed by dropping the final -e of the infinitive and adding regular endings.

Italian Examples
Domani partirò per Milano.
Tomorrow I will leave for Milan.
L'anno prossimo studieranno in Italia.
Next year they will study in Italy.
Saranno le tre del pomeriggio.
It must be about three in the afternoon. (conjecture)
Quando arriverai, ti chiamerò subito.
When you arrive, I'll call you right away.
Pattern / Structure
-ARE/-ERE: drop final -e, -ARE changes a→e: parl-are → parler- add: -ò / -ai / -à / -emo / -ete / -anno Irregolari: essere→sar-, avere→avr-, fare→far-, andare→andr-, venire→verr-
Common Mistakes
For -ARE verbs, forgetting the vowel change: parlare → parler-ò (not parl-ò).
Using presente for future events in formal/written contexts where futuro is expected.
Confusing futuro semplice (avrò/sarò) with condizionale (avrei/sarei).
